Applied Anatomy for Yogis and Healers
With Master Rolpher, Energy Healer, and teacher; John DeMahy.
John deMahy RN’s life long exploration into the structure of the human body and consciousness began in 1972 with his first yoga class. His study of practical anatomy includes two human cadaver dissections, and years of experience in both the conventional and the alternative medical fields. Over the years he has studied energy meditation practices with some of the country’s leading teachers. John has taught kinesiology (the science of human movement) at the Rolf Institute and at The University of North Carolina at Charlotte. He has also taught courses in meditation and various energy practices. John is currently in the 23rd year of his Rolfing, Structural Integration practice. We are blessed to have a local Master who is enthusiastic about creating an interesting, engaging anatomy class for the yoga and healing community.
