The mayan calandar is an accessibleyet little known tool revealing tous the magic of time. The word"maya" in Hindu philosophy means measurement, time, or illusion. TheMayans are the native Mexicans that lived with a 260 day calandar. Theyunderstood a natural, rhythmic, even, synchronized system that followedthe cycle of the moon moving around the earth every 28 days, followingthe female cycle, thus synchronizing with nature. Within the mayancalandar, every month has the same of amount of days, giving order tochaos, as time is a measurement of space.
Theancient mayans celebrated time as a frequency and as art.Drivenby synchronizing with time, the Mayans became the rulers of it,thinking that if they could synchronize with time they couldsynchronize with God, thus being God.
Surrounded by a wall of sacred temples, the land of themaya is in Tulum, Mexico. The winter solstice of 2012 is the end of theMayan calandar. On a Universal level it is thought that a tremendousshift in consciousness is leading us to this time within our lives. Astime speeds up, these sequencial and important moments in our lives area preporatory work of our inner reality. This will give us the capacityto handle the tremendous amount of changes that seem to be rising inintensity within our lives here upon the earth as we know it.
Yoga is a key element in our ability in creating space to handle moretime on a vast, cosmic scale. Humans are thought to be the guardians ofgalactic time. Our responsibility as human's is increasing. The time isnow, and now, there is Time.
