Uno Astro Lodge
Uno Astro Lodge is a small retreat spot on the end of the road of Tulum, just steps from the beach, so it is quaint and more secluded than most of Tulum. Accommodations are very limited, so, it is best to book which room you would like as soon as possible.
Uno Astro Lodge, created by Nuno. is a progressive artist community that lives off of the Mayan Calandar. On this retreat, you will have workshops that will assist in your preparation for 2012, coming soon, and learn all about the happenings leading up to and on the day of 2012 with a community that lives it daily, and has created the entire galactic, starry environment that we will stay in. The palapas are natural, skilled works of pristine, zen-like art. The individual rooms are off the grid, with solar access to being “plugged in” during the day.
At night, the magical sky appears with shining diamonds, so bright, that it lights up the enitre beach and ruins. Tulum is surrounded by Mayan temples, so the healing energy of this region is amplified. There are many unique healers, shamans, and mystics as a result. Options also may include nightly sweat lodge ceremonies, and private shamanic healing ceremonies.
We will do yoga in an outdoor, high wooden palapa that overlooks the turquoise waters of the Carribean. Enjoy visiting these ancient, powerful ruins, hiking, diving, and snorkeling the 2nd largest reef in the world.

The mayan calandar is an accessibleyet little known tool revealing tous the magic of time. The word"maya" in Hindu philosophy means measurement, time, or illusion. TheMayans are the native Mexicans that lived with a 260 day calandar. Theyunderstood a natural, rhythmic, even, synchronized system that followedthe cycle of the moon moving around the earth every 28 days, followingthe female cycle, thus synchronizing with nature. Within the mayancalandar, every month has the same of amount of days, giving order tochaos, as time is a measurement of space.
Theancient mayans celebrated time as a frequency and as art.Drivenby synchronizing with time, the Mayans became the rulers of it,thinking that if they could synchronize with time they couldsynchronize with God, thus being God.
Surrounded by a wall of sacred temples, the land of themaya is in Tulum, Mexico. The winter solstice of 2012 is the end of theMayan calandar. On a Universal level it is thought that a tremendousshift in consciousness is leading us to this time within our lives.
