Swan River Space Rental
Our “Mandir,” a Sanskrit word for a cultural, holistic space, has won many architectural awards from the city of New Orleans. It was originally built as a Public Library, and opened its doors in 1911. During the FDR period, native New Orleans artist Edward Schoenberger was commissioned by the Works Progress Administration — a federal program to help artists during the Great Depression — to paint the back wall of the main reading room, now our main yoga room. The picturesque panoramic view of the giant mural is enough to captivate any event.
Swan River Yoga Mid-City Mandir is equipped with 3 gorgeous floors for rental. Our main floor, the largest, is ~3,000 square feet. Our space has been rented for many diverse occasions, from intimate events to larger functions.
