CAROLINE HUGHES
Caroline Hughes is a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant and E-RYT 500 yoga teacher. She combines her expertise in yoga, physical therapy, and Thai yoga therapy to create a unique and effective blend of holistic practices.
In 2016, she became a yoga teacher after experiencing the transformative power of yoga in naturally managing her anxiety. In 2022, she earned her Physical Therapist Assistant license and now integrates the mindfulness of yoga with physical therapy principles to help her students decrease pain & improve their strength, flexibility, and alignment.

Caroline has studied Thai Yoga Massage in Thailand and frequently shares her knowledge through Thai Yoga Therapy and Assisted Stretching courses at Swan River Yoga. She is also the founder of Accessible Yoga Practices, an online community supporting yogis with injuries and disabilities. In addition, Caroline has authored a free Adaptive Yoga Guide, available at www.accessibleyogapractices.
She teaches Adaptive Yoga at the Split Second Foundation, where she works with the disabled community of New Orleans, particularly individuals with spinal cord injuries, strokes, multiple sclerosis, brain injuries, and age-related conditions.
