I have loved movement and play in my physical body since I was young. As a child, I explored this through gymnastics and lots of outdoor activities. Yoga came to my radar in the mid 90s while in studies at the University of N.C. in Chapel Hill. At first, it was a fun hobby to help me diffuse stress from my studies in Business and Spanish, and it unfolded into my life path… very clearly how I wish to show up in the world to serve others.
My yoga education is immense and spans two decades. I have studied directly with Ram Dass, Dr William Mahoney, John Friend, Judith Lasater, Mychal Bryan, Tias Little, Dr Joe Dispenza, Matthew Sanford, and so many more wonderful teachers. I also consider students some of my most enlightening teachers.
I am a Certified Yoga Educator and Yoga Teacher through the Yoga Alliance (YACEP-500); a Certified Yoga Therapist (C-IAYT); a Certified Osteoporosis Teacher; a Certified Anusara Teacher; a Certified Level 1 Craniosacral Therapist; and a Certified Thai Massage Therapist.
I have worked diligently to make practices of yoga accessible to all through creating yoga tracks in beginners, restorative, adaptive, and private sessions for more than a decade. Yoga is for Every Body. I hope to see you on the mat!
I am available for Private Integrative Yoga Therapy Sessions.
